B. SC. Nursing is a four year degree course. It aims to prepare the nurse who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the right of and facilitate individual and groups in pursuits of health function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor and manager in a clinical / public health.

GNM (General Nurse Midwifery) deals with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing and midwifery. The main aim of this course is to prepare nurses to function as efficient members of the health team, (Staff Nurse) beginning with the competencies for first level positions in all kinds of health care settings.

About Us

DURATION- 2 YEARS

ANM(Auxillary Nurse Midwifery) course trains students and make them capable of working as basic health workers. The main aim of ANM course is to train students and make them capable of taking up nursing practice in rural and urban areas .Special focus is given towards treatment of women, children and old age people.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PB-B.Sc.) is a program that's been fashioned to impart an understanding of advanced nursing. The course gives an opportunity to the candidates to brush up their medical skills including both surgical and non-surgical. It basically seeks to polish the competencies, critical thinking skills, competencies and standards as required for professional nursing. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is an undergraduate course that is ought to upgrade the personal and professional scope of work in the field. It enables the candidates to make independent decisions in various nursing situations wherein they need to provide preventive, rehabilitative services to their patients. The programme is aimed at preparing students to take up job roles like Nursing Superintendent, Nursing Supervisor, Staff Nurse, etc. in both government and private sectors.

Prof. Ashish Jain has Dedicated 10 Years in nursing Education and Administration. He graduated from Shri Rawatpura Sarkar School, & College of Nursing, Datia in 2006. In 2010 he successful completed his Masters in Nursing with Child Health Nursing as specialization from Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing, Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. He has worked as an asst. Lecturer in the parent institute till 2007 & there after he was designated as Asst. Lecturer in People’s College of Nursing & research centre, Bhopal till 2008. He has privilege to being the founder Principal of S. S. Agrawal College of Nursing Training College &Research Centre, Navsari and thus pioneered M. Sc. (Nursing), B.Sc. (Nursing), GNM and ANM Education in the city of Navsari. He is the member of Board of Studies & Board of Examination, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat Since 2015and examiner of various universities for graduate programme. He is life member of Trained Nurses Association.

Candidate should be a registered nurse and registration midwife or equivalent with any state nursing registration council. The minimum education requirements shall be passing of: b.sc nursing/b sc. hons. nursing / post basic b.sc nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks. The candidate should have undergone in b.sc nursing/b sc. hons. nursing / post basic b.sc nursing in an institution which is recognized by indian nursing council. Minimum one year of work experience after basic b. sc. nursing. Minimum one year work experience prior or after post basic b.sc nursing. Candidate should be medically fit. 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidate may be given.

Lamp lighting ceremony

The lamp lighting ceremony is an auspicious occasion in every nurse’s life, held in reverence to Florence Nightingale, the lady with the lamp. Nursing is the only profession that follows lamp lighting ceremony. The lamp lighting ceremony formally recognizes the students’ entry into the nursing profession.  Lamp lighting ceremony of B.SC,GNM,ANM first year ( 130 students) was held on Feb.19 th  2020
