About Us

To detect & evaluate anatomical, patho-physiological and psychosomatic impairments resulting in physical dysfunction in various age groups, occupations & arrive at appropriate diagnosis. To understand the rationale and basic investigative approach to the medical system & surgical intervention regimens & accordingly plan & implement specific Physiotherapy measures effectively. Our bachelor of physiotherapy course comprises of four academic years with clinical postings from Third Year and Final Year and six months of rotatory internship. Similarly the Masters of Physiotherapy course is of 2 years.

CME

ON 13th September 2022 S. S. Agrawal institute of physiotherapy and medical care education organized for the very first time a CME on Osteoarthritis and advances in management. The Resource persons for the event were Dr. Ajay Jasani (MS Orthopedics) and Dr. Shlesha Vaidya (MPT Orthopedics). The event was very informative and knowledgeable for everyone present. Around100 participants participated in the CME that included the Students of the institute as well as delegates from outside. All the participants were given E certificate for participation.

“Opportunities don’t happen, you create them” so did the staff of S.S.Agrawal institute of Physiotherapy & medical care education in the Covid 19 pandemic. With making utmost use of Lockdown they achieved their goals of publishing 15 publications,52 and attending E- seminars/webinars, 25 lectures as well as were invited as guest lecturers for respected institutes. They even hosted an event on awareness on self-care during pandemic: a holistic approach for IAP women’s south Gujarat team.

4.Dr. Khushali Chokshi

She has been appointed as a District co-ordinator for IAP women cell south gujarat team along with Dr Nijal Parmar and Dr. Ruchita Narsia, as District sub co-ordinator for IAP women cell south gujarat team.

She is certified instructor for Aerobics.

Event

World Heart Day

On the world heart day and the joyous occasion of Navratri S. S. Agrawal institute of physiotherapy and medical care education, Navsari had organized some informative and fun activities for all the patients of OPD. The day started with an informative session regarding “Cardiovascular diseases and preventive Cardiology” by Dr Ujala Patel and Dr Shraddha Champaneri followed by ‘Garba aerobics’ and ‘Garba competition’ for all patients. For the same Patients were also appreciated with gifts and prices. Students of the institute equally took part in the event and enthusiastically participated in Aarti thali decoration competition.
