S.S. Agrawal Institute of Physiotherapy and Medical Care Education conducted a Industrial Visit at Vortex Flex Pvt Lmt, Chikhli on 22nd September 2026. The visit was organized by Dr. Ayushi Patel and Dr. Jovita Patel with the assistance of 35 volunteers from Final year BPT.

During the industrial visit, a significant number of workers were observed to have musculoskeletal issues, mainly related to posture, repetitive strain, and prolonged standing or sitting. The most common complaints included knee pain, back pain, and shoulder discomfort due to occupational demands. Workers were also found to be at risk of cardiovascular strain because of physically demanding tasks and lack of regular exercise. Respiratory issues were noted among individuals exposed to dust and industrial pollutants.

Employees were assessed and guided with appropriate physiotherapy interventions. They were educated about musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory health, along with preventive measures. Interventions included ergonomic advice, postural correction, strengthening and stretching exercises, relaxation techniques, and breathing exercises for respiratory efficiency. The visit emphasized the physiotherapist’s role in promoting workplace health, preventing and injuries.
