They also design and build tall buildings and large structures that can withstandall weather conditions.
Civil engineers often specialise in one area, such as transportation (roads,airports, railways),environmental (flood barriers, turbines),geotechnical (mining and earthworks), maritime (ports and sea defences) or structural .
