In 1973-74, he marched on to Gujarat in search of business prospects and started grain business with very limited resources, yet now turning out as one of the leading poha, rice and sugar industries in Navsari. Shri S. S. Agrawal believed in sharing knowledge for betterment of the society, his family has sensibly maintained the same legacy and the outcome is Agrawal Education Foundation.
