S. S. Agrawal Institute of Engineering and Technology has organized a one-day workshop for students of Diploma Mechanical, B.E. Mechanical and B.E. Civil Engineering Department. The session was started with the introductory speech by Mr. Anand Patel who is managing director at SOPAN Institute of Engineering and Design, Navsari. The seminar has been conducted on “How CAD/CAE Prevents Real-World Product Failure” by Mr. Kamal Tandel who is Senior Application Engineer at SOPAN institute of engineering and design, Navsari. This session has been attended by 72 students.
In first session of workshop speaker has explained how we can prevent Product failure by Simulation which helps to find design mistakes early, so expensive rework and material waste are reduced. It allows testing different conditions (load, temperature, speed, stress etc.) without building physical prototypes. In second session the speaker has given live demonstration of drawing, which include all the basic command used in AUTOCAD & SOLIDWORKS software. We are very thankful to the speaker Mr. Kamal Tandel and our HOD Mr. Kalpan M. Desai for arranging such a useful hands-on workshop for the students.
