Ayurveda

The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). Thus, Ayurveda translates to knowledge of life. Based on the idea that disease is due to an imbalance or stress in a person's consciousness, Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment.

OBJECTIVES

To develop a facility with international standards, which shall provide a comprehensive, traditional and modern set-up for the diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of disorders with accordance to Ayurvedic System of Medicine including Yoga and Naturopathy.

The Trust would provide techno-cratic Ayurvedic medical care for patients at affordable costs matching with standards, maintained by the best facilities in the Society.

The trust will provide the services in medical care, Teaching & Research development by ensuring achievement of the bench-mark of Ayurved.

To upgrade the existing hospital to a "Centre of Excellence" and provide the State-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities by the Ayurvedic system of medicine with utmost satisfaction to the patients.

To maintain and upgrade the hospital and development of facilities related to Ayurvedic system of Management; and to provide comprehensive, non-invasive and invasive treatment facilities.

To adopt at least five villages initially in the first year and propagate Preventive & Promotional Health Care & Awareness. Subsequently, more villages will be adopted each year.

To provide consultancy services and interact with the industry for development and manufacturing of Ayurvedic drugs and plantation of Ayurvedic medicinal plants.

To obtain accreditation in various fields of Ayurvedic medicine, as may be permissible, to obtain NABH certification for the hospital & institute services.
